The routes were really fun to climb. It was awesome watching everyone work out the sequences. As a setter this gave me a lot to think about. I can not wait to emulate some of my favorite moves! Cheers!

Being my first comp for climbing, it was great. There were a few different approaches on the cards and lines, and I found the easiest lines were the ones in which the belayer had a stack of cards next to them. This made it easier to know who was were in line. I think this would be a good layout for lines next year. Adding small clip boards might help out the belayers in marking the cards as well. The points system was very nice, so I'd leave that one alone. It made everyone equals, though some of the routes I climbed might have been missed judged o their ranking. Not sure how they are assigned, but maybe have several people or more climb the route before hand (volunteers), and get their opinions on the route, and make sure they are different caliber and heights. As for the milk crate stacking, my buddy won that, so it was great. A lot of fun, though having more than 3 people compete might make it more entertaining. ... I'll see you at next years event (unless you do this twice a year).

THANK YOU! Thank you - for a great day yesterday. I had a blast. And after only climbing for a couple of months, ... I was really happy with what I was able to do at the comp. BTW, I also love my super mega awesome prize. It's the best of them all and something I can use right away, if we can figure out where to mount it. The NSS comp was a new scene for me, and I loved it! Thank you for all the time you put into making the day go off smoothly, and thanks to the volunteers, of course, too.

I really enjoyed the comp. The routes were thought-provoking, but not contrived. Crimps, slopers, pinches, jugs: a wide variety of holds were used. And the crowd was supportive and in good spirits. I'll definitely come again next year!

This was my first comp and it was a blast! One minor issue I had was with the popularity of some routes. It seemed like almost a third of all participants were waiting for a route on the upstairs walls at any give time. I think those were primarily in the high teens and low twenties and probably what most people felt comfortable with. It would be really nice if there were more routes with that same level of difficulty spread more evenly throughout the gym. Except for that I had great time and looking forward to doing it again next year!
