This made it easier to know who was were in line. I think this would be a good layout for lines next year. Adding small clip boards might help out the belayers in marking the cards as well. The points system was very nice, so I'd leave that one alone. It made everyone equals, though some of the routes I climbed might have been missed judged o their ranking. Not sure how they are assigned, but maybe have several people or more climb the route before hand (volunteers), and get their opinions on the route, and make sure they are different caliber and heights. As for the milk crate stacking, my buddy won that, so it was great. A lot of fun, though having more than 3 people compete might make it more entertaining. ... I'll see you at next years event (unless you do this twice a year).

It seemed like almost a third of all participants were waiting for a route on the upstairs walls at any give time. I think those were primarily in the high teens and low twenties and probably what most people felt comfortable with. It would be really nice if there were more routes with that same level of difficulty spread more evenly throughout the gym. Except for that I had great time and looking forward to doing it again next year!
